(OLNEY/NEWTON) In High School Clay Target Shooting news –
The 2024 spring season is underway for over 37,000 student athletes nationwide, including nearly 1,800 high school, college, and homeschool teams.
- For high school students, the nine-week spring season runs through May 25th
- Culminating with the State Tournament in June and Nationals in July
Among the 84 high school teams in Illinois, there are 16 in our downstate area
- At both Richland County High School and Newton Community High School
Others include those at the following high schools
- Dieterich, Teutopolis, St. Anthony, Effingham, Altamont, South Central,
- Odin, Patoka, Christ Our Rock Lutheran, Full Armor Christian (Louisville),
- Cumberland, Stewardson-Strasburg, Marshall, and Palestine
