(SPRINGFIELD) Illinois has a new County Fair Queen, as crowned late last night at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Springfield. It’s Miss Morgan County Fair Queen Natalie Evans of Jacksonville. The 19 year old Murray State University student will now oversee the County Fair Queen duties given up last night by retiring 2023 Queen, Paige Van Dyke, of Louisville, in neighboring Clay County. Among the other 72 contestants recognized at the pageant finals last night were First Runner Up Miss Hancock County Tessa Sargeant, Second Runner Up Miss Clinton County Audrey Moran, Third Runner Up Miss Clay County Elaina Kessler, and Fourth Runner Up Miss Ford County Maci Kingren. Congratulations to one and all.
