MIKE BOST INVITES AREA HIGH SCHOOLERS TO ENTER THE 2024 CONGRESSIONAL ART COMPETITION

(WASHINGTON) The office of U.S. Representative Mike Bost is inviting all downstate high school students in the 12th Congressional District to take part in the 2024 Congressional Art Competition. While the winning artwork from southern Illinois will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol, all judging is performed by members of the local downstate art community. With the deadline to submit participation forms set for April 26th, 2024, more information, along with guidelines and student release forms that are required in order to take part, can be found on the bost.house.gov website or by calling 618-457-5787. Initiated by Congress in 1982, the nationwide annual contest allows high school students from all 50 states to showcase their artistic abilities with students from each state to be recognized.
