(BLOOMINGTON) The USDA made only minor adjustments to domestic grain supply and use estimates in last Friday’s March 8th report. Ending stocks for corn (2.1 million bushels) and soybeans (315 million bushels) were unchanged, while wheat ending stocks were noted at 673 million bushels, up from 658 million last month in February following a 15 million bushel decrease in exports. The agency did lower its average farm price estimates for corn and wheat by a nickel each to $4.75 per bushel and $7.15, respectively. The average farm price for soybeans remained unchanged at $12.65. Farmers now await the prospective plantings report on March 28th with the weekly crop progress reports to start in April.
