NASS TO SURVEY FARMERS ON ACRES HARVESTED AND YIELDS EXPECTED THIS MONTH

(SPRINGFIELD) The USDA has announced that at the beginning of each month, running from August through November, it’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) will be surveying farmers across the nation, asking for acres harvested and expected yields for their fall harvested crops. Farmers can respond online at portal.agcounts.usda.gov or by mail. Information remains confidential. Results released around the 12th of each month.
