(CARRIER MILLS) Authorities in Saline County are investigating a sinkhole the developed this past Sunday in the small town of Carrier Mills. While local police say the hole formed due to a subsiding coal mine, some residents have been forced to evacuate their homes, plus a nearby apartment building sustained significant damage, but there was no one injured. State and regional authorities are on site trying determine a course of action.
