AUGUST 21ST PROCLAIMED ‘RICHLAND COUNTY FAIR BOARD DAY’

(OLNEY) It was over the past two weeks that the Olney City Council, the Noble Village Board, and the Richland County Board all took time to proclaim today, this Wednesday, August 21st, as “Richland County Fair Board Day.” It’s a day that everyone is encouraged to take time to recognize the hard “behind the scenes” work that goes into making the yearly Richland County Fair the best it can be. From livestock shows to all the local 4-H exhibits, from the great lineup of grandstand events to the popular carnival rides & concessions, it takes a lot of coordination to make it all come together for a great county fair experience. A tip of the hat to all the Richland County Farm & Fair Association, including the directors, superintendents, various committee members, and the long list of volunteers who take the time to do what’s needed to make the Richland County Fair one of the best in Illinois.
