JUNIOR HIGH SOFTBALL RESULTS FROM YESTERDAY

(OLNEY) In regular season junior high softball action yesterday:

• The Middle School Lady Cubs defeated Salem, 12-10, outhitting the visiting Junior Lady Cats 11 to 10.
  • Winning Pitcher: Kenzly Bryan, who struck out 8 in a complete 7-inning game.
  • Top Hitter: Kenzly Bryan with a double, two singles, 3 RBI, and 1 run scored.
  • Riley Drummond contributed with a triple, a single, 4 RBI, and 1 run scored.
  • Zoie McCormick added a single, a walk, a stolen base, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored.
  • Ally Wright had a triple and scored 1 run.
  The Lady Cubs are scheduled to host Mt. Carmel today.

(OLNEY) In another matchup, Olney St. Joe edged out Cisne, 13-10, despite being outhit by the host team 8 to 7.

• Winning Pitcher: Leah Kuenstler, with 14 strikeouts in a complete 7-inning game.
• Top Hitter: Leah Kuenstler with a triple, a double, a single, 1 RBI, and 3 runs scored.
• Celie Peavler contributed with a double, a walk, 3 RBI, and 1 run scored.
• Nora McClain had a single, walked twice, stole a base, had 1 RBI, and scored 2 runs.
• Jaybii Feutz drew 3 walks, with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored.

The Lady Wildcats, now with a record of 6-5, are preparing for Class S Regional action.
