THURSDAY WEATHER DISCUSSION (09/19/2024)

(OLNEY/NEWTON) As the upper Rex block weather pattern is now starting to break up near the Midwest, the run of dry and warmer-than-normal weather that we’ve experienced the past several days and nights will come to an end. A series of upper level disturbances are expected to work through the Upper Midwest by the first day or two of next week. So with sunny and warm conditions today, tomorrow, and even into Saturday, we now have rain chances in the forecast for Sunday and Monday, although slight in nature. Stay tuned for updates and always monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more forecast details.
