RICHLAND COUNTY BOARD DECEMBER MEETING RECAP

The Richland County Board held its regular December meeting in Olney last night. During the reorganization portion of the meeting, the Board selected Travis Paddock as Chairman and Morgan Henton as Vice-Chairman.

In other business, the Board approved the payment of all bills, including $199,039 in non-county claims and $88,081 in county general claims. The Tax Levy was also approved as presented. Liquor licenses were granted to Ironsides Bar LLC and Richland County Country Club as requested.

The Board also approved a culvert aid petition for Denver Township, as well as a resolution supporting Richland County Agriculture. They reviewed the Public Building Commission Addendum to Lease and noted that all ARPA funds for the county have been fully expended, as required by the year’s end. Additionally, bids for diesel fuel were awarded to Wabash Valley Farm Service.

The next regular meeting of the Richland County Board will be held on January 9, 2025.
