(BLOOMINGTON) New changes to Illinois Farm Bureau policy encompasses a wide range of legislative priorities, covering topics such as wildlife management, apiculture, & farmland ownership. During last week’s annual meeting, delegates adopted wildlife policy changes that focused on nuisance deer management. Also delegates agreed to streamline the state’s beekeeping regulations, and they voted to approve the policy with amendments to oppose foreign ownership of farmland in Illinois. The delegates also supported the right to protect personal property and training for school personnel to carry concealed firearms at work.
