(OLNEY/NEWTON) A reminder to be alert to weight limit postings on local and area roads, whether township or county, as yesterday was the first day of the three month period when weight limits can be restricted in hopes of not damaging roads during the freeze, thaw, and wet time of the year. Drivers should be alert to weight limit signs posted on the respective roads throughout our regional counties, especially with a little warmer weather the next couple of days, along with the snow melt and rain in the forecast. If any questions, drivers should contact their respective township road commissioner or county highway office.
