(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a compact shortwave weather trough lifts northward through the lower Ohio River Valley this morning, we’ll have plenty of clouds, but dry weather conditions, plus little temperature change on this second day of December 2025. Area snowfall totals ranged from 1 to 2 inches along the Route 50 corridor, but more, from 3 to 5 inches further north and west along the Route 33 corridor. The coldest air of the season will settle in tomorrow through Thursday and into Friday morning. We’ll warm up a bit as we move into a dry weekend. Stay tuned for updates and always monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more forecast details.
