(OLNEY/NEWTON) After some snow and then some rain mixed in for Saturday through Sunday, a fast-moving storm system will bring another round of wintry weather to our downstate area tonight. While we’ll have a cloudy and dry Monday during the daylight hours, our snow chances begin around or after sunset this evening with snow accumulations expected between 1 and 3 inches before the snow ends by sunrise tomorrow morning. Then much below normal temperatures will prevail for the rest of this first week of December with the coldest readings expected Thursday through Friday morning. Our next chance of precipitation will be a slight chance Friday through Friday night, followed by a dry and cold weekend. Stay tuned for weather updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
