REGIONAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

(OLNEY/NEWTON) With some widespread dense fog lifting by mid-morning, the warm front that brought us at or around two inches of rain since Tuesday, continues to move northeastward out of Illinois. That means our warmest temperatures of the week here today, on this Friday, plus some sunshine. However, an approaching cold front will bring us more rain chances for later tonight through tomorrow morning. Then we’ll dry out with plenty of sunshine Sunday and Monday until more rain chances return to our downstate area next Tuesday and Wednesday. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for weather forecast details.
