In case you missed it this morning (07/14/2026), listeners had the opportunity to get to know the final two young women competing for the title of 2026 Miss Richland County Fair.
Hunter welcomed contestants Kennedy Travis and Ella Fuson into the studio, along with the 2025 Miss Richland County Fair Queen, August Michels, for a conversation about their backgrounds, their experiences, and what makes the Richland County Fair so special to them. During their visit, the contestants shared more about who they are and why they decided to take part in this year’s competition.
Each contestant discussed what the fair means to them and the important role the Miss Richland County Fair Queen serves in the community. From celebrating local traditions to connecting with fairgoers of all ages, they shared their excitement for the opportunity to represent Richland County as its next Fair Queen.
The Miss Richland County Fair Queen Pageant highlights young women who are passionate about their community, agriculture, and the annual celebration that brings families and friends together each summer. The girls are looking forward to the 169th Richland County Fair and the opportunity to compete for the crown currently held by 2025 Miss Richland County Fair Queen August Michels.
