(SPRINGFIELD) The Illinois Milk Producers Association will host its annual Diary Summit two weeks from tomorrow, on Wednesday, February 4th, at Highland Community College in Freeport, starting at 10:00 that morning. This year’s theme is “Foraging Profitability” featuring presentations on topics such as the digestibility of rye grass, disease management of field crops, and a panel on cover crop usage in diary production. Attendees will also hear an update from the Illinois Department of Public Health on regulatory issues. Lunch and access to various vendors are included with the free registration, which is preferred by today, this January 20th, or as soon as possible, but will also be accepted at the door.
