(NEWTON) In Boys High School Basketball last night (01/23/2024) –
At the LIC Conference Tournament at Newton, there were two winner’s bracket semi-finals.
- Olney beat Casey-Westfield, 48-24
Led by Ian Winkler with 13 points and 9 rebounds, Casey Thomann and Rex Hallam each added 9 points each.
- Newton won the second game, beating Lawrenceville, 65-60
Led by Caden Nichols with 25 points, Parker Wolf added 14 points and Gus Bierman had 11 points.
- Newton will now play Olney in the championship game at 7:30 Friday night
There are two consolation bracket semi-final games tonight,
- Paris and Mt. Carmel at 6:00
- Robinson and Marshall at 7:30
The consolation bracket finals will be tomorrow night.
