(OLNEY) The City of Olney announced yesterday that it has earned City Certification through the Better Cities for Pets Program from Mars Petcare, showcasing Olney’s commitment to creating a pet-friendly community. Launched in 2019, the Better Cities for Pets city certification program is an extension of the Better Cities for Pets Program, which works with government, business, and non-profits to help communities be pet-friendly. The City of Olney recognition comes as the “Home of the White Squirrels” proudly supports all of its local animal-friendly organizations, along with plans for a future Dog Park to serve Olney and the surrounding area. A tip of the hat for the City of Olney’s newest certification.
