(OLNEY/NEWTON) An approaching cold front will bring in some afternoon and evening clouds and eventually some widespread rain by later tonight. As the frontal system moves across Illinois tomorrow morning, the rain will end and colder air will slowly filter into our downstate area through the day on Saturday. We are colder on Sunday and much colder the first half of next week with plenty of frigid air in place. While there is no precipitation in the forecast for next week, so far, we’ll see a very slight warmup for next weekend.
