FRIDAY WEATHER DISCUSSION (12/20/2024)

(OLNEY/NEWTON) A surface low pressure system moving across the Upper Midwest could give us some wrap-around light snow or flurries this morning here in our downstate area as some colder air moves in on a west/northwest wind. We’ll be dry with some sunshine and clouds mixed up tomorrow and Sunday with near normal temperatures expected. Then we warm up next week with rain chances Monday through Christmas Day, on Wednesday. The warmer-than-normal conditions will continue into next weekend as well. Stay tuned for weather updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more forecast details.
