Class 1A & 2A Sectional Semifinals – Tuesday & Wednesday
Four LIC teams are still competing in the postseason with Sectional Semifinal matchups set for today:
Class 2A at Vandalia:
- Robinson vs. Columbia – 4:00 p.m. today
- Newton (24-2) vs. Gillespie – 5:30 p.m. today
Class 2A at Tolono Unity:
- Marshall vs. Unity High School – 4:00 p.m. today
Class 1A at Casey:
- Casey-Westfield vs. South Central – 6:30 p.m. today
Most Sectional Championship games are scheduled for Friday.
Class 3A & 4A Regional Tournaments Begin
Olney (14-10) begins Class 3A Regional Semifinal play this afternoon at Salem, taking on the host Lady Wildcats.
Regional Championship games for Classes 3A and 4A are set for Friday and Saturday.
