Olney at Edwards County Invitational
The Olney Lady Tigers competed at the Edwards County Invitational in Albion, finishing the day with one win and four losses:
- Victory: Defeated Carterville in two games.
- Losses: Fell to Edwards County, Grayville, and Robinson.
Standout Players: Kaitlyn Dowty, Naleigha Harrison, Taylor Bloomer, and Nora Stevens led the team categorically.
Olney is scheduled to play against St. Anthony in Effingham this evening.
Newton at Edwards County Invitational
The Newton Lady Eagles also participated in the Edwards County Invitational, achieving an impressive record of four wins and one loss:
- Victory: Defeated Charleston, Mt. Carmel, Oblong, and Carterville.
- Loss: Lost to Carmi in two games.
Standout Players: Allie Hermann, Sally Mahaffey, Camryn Martin, and Bailee Frichtl were key contributors to the team’s success.
Newton is set to host Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg this evening.
