(NEWTON) The funeral service for World War II and U.S. Army Veteran Harold Gene “Sam” Britton, age 97 of Newton, will be held Saturday morning February 22, 2025 at 10:30 am at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, with burial in the Gila Lutheran Cemetery with full military rites conducted at the graveside. The visitation is Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Funeral Home in Newton.
