(OLNEY) A reminder that the Illinois Association for Home & Community Education, with which the Richland County Homemakers Education Association is affiliated, is sponsoring a $500 scholarship for high school seniors. To qualify, students must have a Grandmother or Mother as a member of a county HCE/HEA who is in good standing for a minimum of three years, plus the recipient of the scholarship must be a current resident of Illinois, but need not attend an Illinois school. Other requirements apply. With the deadline to submit an application being May 1st, 2024, students can apply by going online at IAHCE.org, scroll down on the menu to the left, and click on “scholarships” then click on the middle link to access the needed information, including a list of guidelines and an application form.
