- On Saturday, Newton lost to Ottawa Marquette, 8-1
- Then the Eagles beat Rock Island, 4-2
- Top Newton hitters were Issac Flowers, Payton Harris, & Drake Wolf

- The Tigers beat North Clay/Clay City, 6-3
