(NEWTON) The Jasper County Board has announced the notice of a public meeting for the 2024 Energy Transition Community Grant will be held this coming Thursday evening at the Jasper County Office Building in Newton, starting at 5:30, prior to the regular monthly board meeting for April, which will begin at 6:00. The State of Illinois requires that all project applications shall include community input & consultation with stakeholders along with other local institutions, elected & appointed officials, and relevant organizations.
