Newton Jasper County split two matches at Sigel St. Michael’s last night:
Varsity (8th Grade):
- The Junior Lady Eagles lost a tough match in three games: 25-22, 28-30, 24-26.
- Jasper County was led by Paige Wagner, Layla Thomann, and Kraegan Groves.
Junior Varsity (7th Grade):
- Jasper County won the match in two games.
- Key performances came from Natalie Briscoe and Katie Jansen.
The Junior Lady Eagles are scheduled to play at Marshall on Monday.
