It’s an exciting time for local 4-H members as they prepare for the upcoming Richland County Fair, with a full schedule of shows and contests beginning soon.
Early Events – Friday, June 27
- Dog Show – 9:00 AM
- Cat Show – 2:00 PM
Both events will take place in Olney and mark the start of the 2024 4-H season.
Main Fair Week – July 18–26
The fair officially runs July 18–26 at the Olney City Park, with a variety of 4-H showcases and competitions on the schedule:
- Friday, July 18:
- 4-H General Projects Show
- Held in the Olney City Park Community Building
- Features members’ artwork, displays, and hands-on projects
- 4-H General Projects Show
- Saturday, July 19:
- Youth Tractor Driving Contest (Morning)
- Sunday, July 20:
- Horse Show (Morning)
- Tuesday–Thursday, July 22–24:
- Livestock Shows: Swine, beef, dairy, goats, sheep, and more
- Thursday, July 24:
- Master Showmanship Competition
- 4-H Livestock Auction (Afternoon)
