(OLNEY) In Girls High School Basketball last night (02/05/2024) –
Olney dropped their final two home games of the year
- The Lady Tigers lost the varsity game to Centralia, 49-45
 
Despite 13 points from Grayce Burgener and 11 points from Kyrstin Weiler.
- Centralia also won the junior varsity game, 32-21
 
The Lady Tigers wrap up their regular season schedule tomorrow night, Olney will travel to Effingham to play the Lady Hearts on a rare Wednesday night.
(NEWTON) In Girls High School Basketball last night –
Newton swept two non-conference games at home
- The Lady Eagles won the varsity game over Oblong/Palestine/Hutsonville, 72-30
 
Led by Camryn Martin with 24 points and Karasyn Martin with 16 points, Lilly Kessler had another double/double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
- Newton also won the junior varsity game, 33-8
 
The Lady Eagles finish up their regular season schedule Thursday night, it’s a pair of home games in the NCHS Gym against St. Anthony.
