(BLOOMINGTON) Illinois NREC funding was highlighted at a recent event as nearly fifty young researchers shared their findings during poster sessions earlier this month. The event featured undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled at Illinois State University, Southern Illinois University, Western Illinois University, and the University of Illinois who receive funds through the Illinois Nutrient Research & Education Council. The event featured information about nutrient use efficiencies, nutrient loss thru leaching, nutrient use in yield dynamics, cover crop nutrients, and much more.
