LOCAL WINNERS OF THE 4-H PUBLIC SPEAKING CONTEST

The first unit-wide 4-H Public Speaking Contest was held last week, hosted by Illinois Extension, serving the counties of Richland, Edwards, Lawrence, Wabash, and Wayne. Participants competed in both beginner and advanced levels, delivering speeches ranging from poetry recitations to formal presentations.

Top Five Awardees:

First Place: Levi Clodfelter – Richland County
Second Place: Alex Paul – Wayne County
Third Place: Seth Clodfelter – Richland County
Fourth Place: Kelly Hinderliter – Edwards County
Fifth Place: Titus Anderson – Lawrence County

All of these participants have qualified for the Illinois 4-H Public Speaking Contest on April 26th in Champaign, where they will represent their respective counties.

Additionally, Naomi Anderson has been selected as a state fair delegate to represent Lawrence County.
