MONDAY WEATHER DISCUSSION (03/25/2024)

(OLNEY/NEWTON) An upper level weather disturbance with some light rain is moving across our downstate area as a larger warm front moves into Illinois. With our rain chances hanging around tonight through early tomorrow morning, our temperatures hold steady today through tomorrow, however strong south/southeasterly winds will gust at 40 to 45 miles-per-hour today through tomorrow night. That’s when an approaching cold front will drop across the state, bringing back some cooler air on Wednesday before we slightly warm back up by the end of the work week. All to be followed by what at this time, appears to be a pleasant and warm holiday weekend. Stay tuned for continued weather updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather information and forecast details.
