MONDAY WEATHER DISCUSSION (05/06/2024)

(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a shortwave weather trough lifts northeastward into the Ohio River Valley today, our downstate area rain chance continues this morning, but some dry time with possible sunshine is expected this afternoon. With a slight chance of overnight rain and/or storms into tomorrow morning, we’ll likely have a dry Tuesday night before more rain chances move through on Wednesday. Then a more stable airmass moves in with some cooler and dry air for Thursday and Friday to wrap up the work week. Other than a slight chance of rain Saturday, most of the upcoming weekend will be dry. Stay tuned for updates and always monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
