(NEWTON) in Boys High School Basketball last night (01/09/2024) –
Newton swept two games in non-conference play at home in the NCHS Gym.
- The Eagles beat Effingham in the varsity game, 66-52
Led by Caden Nichols with 27 points, who also hit the 1,000 point career plateau, also Dylan Geir with 17 points and Max Meinhart with 11 points.
- Newton also won the junior varsity game, 55-39
The Eagles are in LIC action Friday night at home against Lawrenceville.
