(OLNEY/NEWTON) In Boys Junior High Basketball last night, Newton Jasper County split two games with Lawrenceville.
- The Junior Eagles won the 8th grade game, 58-27
Led by Chance Mulvey with 14 points and Eli Wolf with 12 points, the top defender Ian Kessler also had 12 points and Mack Huber was the top rebounder.
- Lawrenceville won the 7th grade game, 41-35
The Junior Eagles were led by Jacob Ferguson with 13 points.
- Jasper County’s varsity squad is now 12-2 while the junior varsity is now 10-4
The Junior Eagles are scheduled to play at Cumberland tomorrow night.
