(NEWTON) In Boys High School Basketball last night, Newton dropped two games to St. Anthony in Effingham.
- The Eagles lost the varsity game to the host Bulldogs, 50-43
For Newton, Parker Wolf had 18 points and Dylan Gier added 13 points.
Newton’s varsity squad is now 6-2 on the year
- St. Anthony also won the junior varsity game, 56-25 (now 2-2)
The Eagles return to LIC action Friday night traveling to Robinson.
