Newton won its Class 2A Regional Semi-Final game at home
- The Eagles beat Oblong/Palestine/Hutsonville, 91-59
- Led by Parker Wolf’s career high 41 points
- Dylan Gier added 17 points and Caden Nichols had 13 points
The Eagles are now 21-10 on the year, Newton will play Teutopolis in the Regional Title game tomorrow night at 7:00, the Wooden Shoes won their semi-final game over Marshall, 59-37.

Olney won its Class 3A Regional Semi-Final game at Charleston
- The Tigers held on to beat Mattoon, 59-56
- Led by senior point guard Ian Winkler’s 31 points
- Casey Thomann added 14 points and Arjay Keller had 9 points
The Tigers improve to 25-4 on the year, Olney will now play Mt. Vernon in tomorrow night’s championship game, the Rams won their semi-final game over the host Trojans, 64-45.
