(NOBLE) The Noble Village Board met in regular session this past Monday night for less than 30 minutes. The Board : approved the payment of all bills as presented : approved the Appropriation Ordinance for Fiscal Year 2025 retroactive to May 1st, 2024, with estimated Village revenues worth $1,563,065 and Village expenditures at $1,151,135 : agreed to replace the existing sign at the Village Park Pavilion with a new one from Meagher Signs in Flora, worth $105 : noted that the Village’s new storm siren will be erected on a new pole by the Village’s Water Tower, all pending a cost estimate from Ameren : discussed a cleanup of the flower bed at the corner of North Noble Avenue & East Illinois Route 250 : noted the next Village wide Cleanup is set for Wednesday, August 21st : noted the Noble Village wide Garage Sale set for Saturday, August 17th : and noted the upcoming Noble Chowder in the Village Park, on Saturday, August 10th with three streets to be closed during the Chowder – North Noble Avenue, between Elm & Poplar Streets, plus Wildcat Street and the 100 block of East Elm Street : the next regular meeting for the Noble Village Board will be August 12th.
