(NOBLE) The Noble Village Board met in special session last night (12/18/2023)after holding a public hearing to hear information from the Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission about the process and perimeters involved in obtaining a grant for needed improvements and repairs at the Village’s Sewer Lagoon. The Board approved a resolution of Support and Commitment of Local Funds, committing $3,500 from the Village’s General Fund for use in conjunction with an Illinois Development Block Grant, for an estimated total project cost of $836,000. The Board also agreed to pay all bills that were presented before adjourning. The next regular meeting for the Noble Village Board is set for January 8th, 2024.
