Men’s Junior College Basketball:
- OCC Blue Knights fell short in their GRAC opener at “The Dungeon” last night, losing to Lincoln Trail College 87-70.
- Jahlil Bethea led the Blue Knights with a game-high 20 points, while Kasym Nash added 16 points.
- The 2-8 Blue Knights return to GRAC/District action this Saturday with a 3:00 PM game at Shawnee Community College near Ullin, Illinois.
Other GRAC/District Results:
- Vincennes defeated John A. Logan, 78-77.
- Wabash Valley won against Southwestern Illinois, 76-72.
- Lake Land beat Rend Lake, 94-81.
- Shawnee triumphed over Kaskaskia, 81-71.
- The next round of district and conference games will take place Saturday.
Women’s Junior College Basketball:
- OCC Lady Knights came from behind to win their GRAC opener at home, defeating Lincoln Trail College 71-63.
- Laney Hawkins led with 19 points, while Macey Timbermann added 17 points.
- Isabella Slocum recorded another double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
- The (5-7) Lady Knights will play at Shawnee Community College this Saturday at 1:00 PM.

- Wabash Valley defeated Southwestern Illinois, 101-75.
- Rend Lake won against Lewis & Clark, 62-61.
