(OLNEY/NEWTON) It’s warmer-than-normal and mild weather conditions on tap for this first full week of January 2026, so soak it in. With a mixture of sunshine and clouds expected today thru Wednesday, our sky will stay dry with a strong south/southwest wind today & tomorrow before the wind switches from the west Tuesday afternoon. Our first weather system of the year will move through our downstate area Thursday and Friday, bringing the chance of much-needed rain, followed by a mostly dry weekend, along with cooler air moving in as well.
