(OLNEY/NOBLE) The Richland County Firefighter 35th Annual Food Drive is this coming Thursday evening, starting at 6:00. Those wanting to help out with a donation of non-perishable food items should have their items on their front steps or porches with their front porch lights on by 6:00 as the firefighters and volunteers will go door-to-door for the pickup in Calhoun, Claremont, Dundas, Noble, Olney, and Parkersburg. Food can also be dropped off at several sites within Richland County, including the east entrance at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney from 8:00 to 4:00 weekdays, at the TNT Stop in Claremont, at Noble Foods, at the Wakefield Mill, at Market Street Medical in Olney, or at the Olney Fire Department. All the food collected will be sorted and then donated to the Good Samaritan of Richland County to be distributed to those in need this holiday season.
