(OLNEY) Richland County authorities are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred in yesterday morning’s dense. The Sheriff’s Department responded to the 7:28 call to find a two vehicle crash along Ste. Marie Road, near the Tank Farm Lane intersection, just north of Olney. Pronounced deceased was 27 year old Andrew Faught of Pontiac, Illinois. The authorites report Faught was southbound in a car when he attempted to pass another vehicle in the dense fog and struck head-on a northbound vehicle. The other driver was treated for only minor injuries at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital. No tickets issued.
