The Richland County School Board has appointed Mrs. Jennifer Tedford as the next Principal of Richland County Middle School, with her new role set to begin on July 1, 2025.
Mrs. Tedford brings 27 years of experience in education, with 26 years spent serving Richland County.
Her Career Highlights:
- 1998: Began as a Speech-Language Pathologist with South Eastern Special Education, assisting students in West Richland and Clay City
- 2001: Joined the West Richland School District full-time
- 2008-2011: Served as Speech-Language Pathologist, Special Education Coordinator, and Assistant Principal
- 2011-2014: Elementary Principal in Noble
- 2014-2019: Transitioned to Richland County Elementary School as Early Childhood Program Administrator
- 2023: Appointed Director of Early Childhood for the Richland County School District
Mrs. Tedford’s extensive background in education and administration makes her a valuable leader for RCMS.
