(NEWTON) The 153rd Jasper County Fair is fast approaching, coming up, June 23rd through the 29th, on the fairgrounds, in Newton. With 4-H entries submitted the Saturday before, exhibits will be on display starting Friday, June 21st, and continuing into and through Saturday, the 22nd. The 2024 Miss Jasper County Fair Queen Pageant is that Sunday (6/23) night at 7:30, followed by Harness Racing the next two nights, Monday (6/24) and Tuesday (6/25) at 6:30 each evening. With plenty of 4-H livestock judging Wednesday (6/26), the fair’s Pedal Tractor Pull is that evening at 6:00, plus the Non-Sanctioned Tractor & Truck Pull at 6:00. The fair’s 4-H Livestock Auction is Thursday (6/27) afternoon at 3:00, followed by the ITPA Tractor & Truck Pull that night at 7:00. The popular Antique Farm Machinery Show will be Friday (6/28) from 11:00 to 2:00 and the Whippoorwill Rodeo that night at 7:00. Then the popular Demolition Derby will finish things up Saturday (6/29) night at 6:00. Not to mention all the great fair concessions, games, exhibits, and more.
