THIS WEEK’S RICHLAND COUNTY FARM BUREAU RAINFALL REPORT

(OLNEY) In this week’s Richland County Farm Bureau rainfall report for the past week, with the reporting period ending at 8:00 this past Monday morning, the county’s highest total of rain was six tenths of an inch (0.60) in Decker Township, followed by a half inch of rain (0.50) in Madison Township, a quarter of an inch (0.25) in Noble Township, and two tenths (0.20) in Denver Township. Then it was a tenth of an inch (0.10) in both Claremont Township sites and Bonpas Township, followed by five-hundredths of an inch (0.05) in both Preston and Olney Townships, and the county’s lowest amount of rain over the past week was no rain at all at the Farm Bureau Office in Olney and in German Township. Here at our WVLN-WSEI National Weather Service official weather station for Richland County, at the south edge of Olney, we recorded almost a tenth, at nine-hundredths of an inch (o.09).
