THIS WEEK’S RICHLAND COUNTY RAINFALL REPORT

(OLNEY) In this week’s Richland County Farm Bureau rainfall report for the past week, with the reporting period ending at 8:00 yesterday (Monday) morning, the county’s highest total of rain was an inch & seven tenths (1.70) in Bonpas Township, followed by an inch & six tenths (1.60) in one of the Claremont Township sites, an inch & four tenths (1.40) in Madison Township, and an inch & three tenths (1.30) in the other Claremont Township site. Then an inch & two tenths (1.20) in Olney Township, an inch & one tenth (1.10) in Decker Township, one inch even (1.00) in Noble Township and at the Farm Bureau Office in Olney, and eighty-five hundredths (0.85) in Denver Township. The county’s lowest amount of rain was six tenths of an inch (0.60) in both Preston and German Townships. Here at our WVLN-WSEI National Weather Service official weather station for Richland County, at the south edge of Olney, we recorded an inch and one tenth (1.10) during the past seven days & nights.
