(OLNEY/NEWTON) We’re back to above normal temperatures today and for the rest of this last week of February 2025 as a high pressure ridge stays in control of our Midwestern weather. An approaching mid level short wave disturbance will push southeastward later tonight, bringing more clouds to our downstate area, and eventually our next chance of rain on Wednesday afternoon. After the rain ends late tomorrow night, we’ll return to dry and warm conditions to wrap up the work week. Another frontal system will stay to our north, but bring us some cooler air for the weekend as we’ll stay dry into next week. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more forecast details.
