(OLNEY/NEWTON) With plenty of sunshine today across our downstate area, a warming trend starting today will continue tomorrow and Thursday, before the remnants of Tropical Storm Francine moves up through the Mississippi River Valley, bringing us widespread rain Friday into Saturday morning. Then after one to two inches or rain on average, we’ll have on-and-off again chances of rain into the first of next week.
